Splishing and Splashing (MBL Teams)

The sky finally cleared up today and Mr. Sun was shinning brightly.

Of course, it made the kids even more excited to today`s activities.

The first thing that they did was Morning Circle. They continued reviewing this month`s themes and played a game using paper cups and balls. It was fun!

Next, was Soccer Practice.

They had a new coach today. He had to relieve Daichi Coach who was sick.

He introduced new set of games that made the kids more excited.

Water play was the most exciting thing that happened today.

They did the usual splishing and splashing with friends.

Even their teachers joined the fun. It was the best!

Mini Olympic Game (MBL Teams)

Just as we thought that the heat would cool down today because of the cloudy weather but it didn`t. It was still humid, perfect to deep in the pool and that was what we did today.

Prior to that, we enjoyed learning about flags during Morning Circle. This is in connection with Tokyo Olympics happening right now.

We had fun matching small, medium and big flags.

We also had Mini Olympic Game. We took turns stacking colored paper cups and placing them on a chair.

It was fun!

Then, we prepared for NEC Swimming.

Another fun-filled day just happened today. Thanking our dear teachers and friends for a good day!

Japan is known for its many diverse festivals and vibrant celebrations, and Summer Festival is one of them. And, here at Melody-Kajigaya, we are more than excited to celebrate this one of a kind festival.
